This course is designed to provide a basic overview of the Internet, Intranet, and WWW. The content includes operating systems; basic HTML commands; navigation of the Internet, Intranet, and Web; and Web page design. This year in Web Design you will learn to code HTML and CSS along with learning to use Dreamweaver and Photoshop.

Setup Your Web Hosting Account
Go to 000webhost.com and sign-up for an account.
Click sign up.
If you have not purchased your own domain choose the free subdomain (recommended)
Use pXlastname (X IS YOUR PERIOD)
PASSWORD: wdStudent Number
Now all your account information will show on the right
Copy down the following for class and put it in your notes AND in Google Docs for future reference:

Also write down your password
Check to see if your Web site is live. Click your site's domain and it should look like this. Click here to see a picture of a live site message.
