Welcome to Stoneman Douglas High School! This is going to be an exciting year and I look forward to having you in my class. I teach two Academy of Finance courses: Accounting Applications Honors, Finance & Business Technology and Introduction to Information Technology.

Find an innovative NEW use for a common everyday item in eight days. The item will be announced by DECA on November 13. You must create and post a creative, 3 minute YouTube video explaining and demonstrating your item. The deadline to post is Nov. 20th. @ 6pm. Previous winner video.

Judging will be based on the following:
- New use and value created for the item
- Feasible and sustainable idea
- Ability to work effectively as a team
- Effective communication of results
- Creative presentation
- Finalists will be announced January 6, 2015
- Global winners will be announced January 12, 2015
